1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files saved on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, which lets a site remember your choices in your browser, and pixels or software development kits (SDKs), which work the same way inside web pages and apps. Haivisoft Technologies Private Limited uses these to make our website and Apps work, remember your settings, and understand how they are used. This policy is part of our Privacy Policy.
2. What we use and why
Necessary
Needed for the site to work and to remember your choices. These cannot be switched off.
- The hs-cookie-consent entry (local storage): stores your cookie choice so we do not ask you again.
- The hs-theme entry (local storage): remembers whether you chose the light or dark display.
- Security and load-balancing cookies set by our hosting provider, where used, to keep the service available and protected.
Analytics
Help us understand which pages and features are used so we can improve them. We turn these on only if you accept them.
Marketing
Used to measure campaigns and show relevant information about our products. We turn these on only if you accept them, and we do not use them for children.
Preferences
Remember settings such as language and region, where we offer them. Only used if you accept them.
3. Apps for Android, iOS and Windows
Our Apps do not use browser cookies, but they may store settings on your device and use identifiers and SDKs for sign-in, push notifications, crash reporting and, where you allow it, analytics. Our Apps do not use your advertising identifier for advertising and do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
- Android: you can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ads personalisation under Settings, Google, Ads.
- IOS: you can allow or refuse tracking under Settings, Privacy and Security, Tracking. If an App ever asks to track you, refusing does not limit your access to it.
- Windows: you can review and clear app data under Settings, Apps, Installed apps, Advanced options.
4. Third-party technologies
When you follow links to services such as WhatsApp or Google Maps, or use sign-in and analytics features, those providers may set their own cookies or identifiers under their own policies. We recommend reading them. We do not control third-party cookies.
5. How to control them
- When you first visit our website, you can accept all, deny all, or choose categories in the privacy settings box.
- To change your choice later, clear this site's data (cookies and local storage) in your browser. The box will appear again on your next visit.
- Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies and tell you before a cookie is saved. Blocking necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
- In our Apps, use your device settings to manage permissions, notifications and tracking.
6. How long they last
Necessary choices such as your cookie consent and display preference stay on your device until you delete them. Other cookies last for the period shown by their provider, usually from the length of your visit up to 12 months, and are removed when you withdraw consent or clear your browser data.
7. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our website and Apps change, and we will update the date at the top. For questions, email contact@haivisoft.ai.
